today worked with celin at Shangarila Hotel at 7am.. aiish~ so early..
nv been to Shangarila Hotel before.. and gosh, the first impression ish that the toilet ish damn posh! it looks more like hotel rooms than toilet doors..
we are working over at the Island Ballroom.. apparently there's conference going on there.. in the morning was the CEO Summit 06. wahh u can see all the BIG SHOTS! got Mediacorp Director, Coca Cola, Cycle and Carriage, Leo Burnett (some famous marketing company) blah blah.. our job ish provide them with the badges.. very simple job.. but was quite chaotic in the morning.. lots of confusion.. the night conference was much better.. was slightly more organise.. the night conference ish the Advertising Lecture 06.. heard one part of the so-called "lecture".. wahh very sian..
it damn damn freezing there! im not kidding.. its so cold that i saw my fingers turning purple.. freaking cold.. as though air con ish free..
and i got starved for like 7hrs before i got the first meal of the day.. DAMN HUNGRY! but after that we kept on eating.. this is the meal schedule for the day *note: the conference ish for the whole day*:
8am - Breakfast (some bread or smth)
10am - Coffee and Tea Session
12pm - Lunch (wide spread of variety.. from jap food to chinese and western and desert! buffet style)
3pm - Tea Break (Dim Sum)
5pm - Cocktail Party
8pm - Dinner
kao, see! they got SOOOO many breaks in between every 2 hours.. whatever they ate and there's leftover (after the Tea and Coffee session), we will kope the rest! these rich people are really very zhu.. keep eating and eating.. but Shangarila's food not really nice leh.. either they are tasteless or too hard.. hard as in u can take and throw at someone, and the person will faint. yup thats right! lolx~ im not kidding!
shall stress on the dinner! actually can leave at 830pm le (wow worked like 13 hrs! no wonder SO tired) but they claimed that there are lots of guest which wasnt present and let's just take their place for the dinner! lolx.. omg.. i dun wan! i wan go home sleep~~~ dead tired.. i insisted that my mum got cook my share at home but they are so persistent.. so bo bian went in the ballroom for dinner too.. i heard that the dinner cost like US$100!!
WAHH!! *jaw drop* nearly S$200.. and me and celin are eating them for free!
this is the ballroom.. posh can! first ish the appettizer.. dunno what cream soup... din take a photo of that! aye wasted!
this is the main course.. erm.. terriyaki chicken with some mash potato thingy plus vege.. the terriyaki chicken kinda salty can!
desert time! some pudding thingy with strawberries!! heehee.. the strawberry taste nice!!
eh.. after desert ish call what arh?? lolx.. suddenly got this chocolate desert.. but the choco dun taste nice de.. *shake head*
aye imagine sharing tables with those big shots.. tsk tsk~ dunno shud feel happy or nervous.. hmm, i think i shud come down from the moutains more often and see the world lolx! u shud have seen our expression when we see the 5-star hotel.. and aiish! it irks me to see those so damn fake expression on the face of those big shots when they see each other..
"OH! *whoever whoever* hi! how are you doing!" then hug here and there with the plastic smile on the face.. gosh! these ppl are SO FAKE!!! u can see that the smile ish not geniune at all! i cant stand the realistic world...
