was chatting with my mum today about childhood games.. dunno why we started on this topic but we ended with a conclusion that children nowadays are quite miserable..
why?
my mum was telling me, when they were young, their generation, neighbours are all very close.. there are like 8 families living together in a 3 storey building.. and the kids will always run downstairs to buy ice kachang and sit by the roadside and eat.. or they will gather together for hide and seek at the back lane of their house or spend 5 cents to buy paper balloons.. though life were tough for the kids but they enjoyed it very much..
then ish our generation! from our generation onwards people start to live in HDB flats.. when i was young i used to stay at my grandma house.. and i remember i would go knocking at my ah mah neighbour's door and call the kids out to play at the corridor.. when i move back my house, even more fun! cuz there are like 4 families on our storey and all with little children! (ok i was still a small kid at that time)so every evening, we would go out to the corridor to play and cycle.. or we would gather our toys out to the corridor and share.. or the big kor kors will piggyback me and my bro around..lolx~ those were the times.. and and! we would have parties at the corridor too! like christmas or new year..
in schools, i remember i would skip recess and play 'sunday-monday' with my group of hao jie mei.. sunday-monday was a super popular game amongst the girls in our generation in primary school.. if not, we would be playing hopscotch, zero point or five stones.. aye~ those were the days without technology..
then comes the present generation.. doubt the children nowadays ever experience the feeling of playing together with neighbours at the corridor, chasing each other around and even to the extend of rolling down the stairs (happened to me before.. that is tong nian! liddat then fun! hehe~) the current generation emphasize on studies studies and studies! monday english tuition, tuesday piano class, wednesday swimming lesson blah blah~~ the tong nian of these kids are haunted by stress and endless schedule of activities planned and organise by their parents.. *patpat* i pity them.. really.. they would play computer games instead of our card games, and they would collect pokemon cards and hook onto gameboy when we only can collect sailor moon stickers from the 'maggie' snacks last time..
haix.. i really do pity them.. kids are losing their innocent smiles..

today went k box with Holidays! soooo long nv go k together le.. but today a bit 'leng chang'
cuz everyone's too feng in front.. towards the end cc and joyce fall asleep.. lolx.. cc haven slept for more than 4 hours cuz she's on night shift before meeting us.. anyway tonight last day le!! welcome to the jobless gang!! *open arms* gao xing bah? lolx.. shiru ish also looking restless, celin got sore throat and i suddenly got a bad headache.. haha.. not good.. we left at around 7.30pm and went dinner at Kelly Fan Club.. lolx! after dinner we went to take neoprints! with our jumpers on.. finally! Holidays taken our first neoprint together!!

if anyone still remembers him, he is the fifth member of 5566, hurt his back and went to L.A for treatment.. and i doubt he would ever return again.. heard fufu say he had set up a small business at L.A and ish doing pretty well.. lucky i still have all 5 of them de signature.. *phew*

yesterday me and celin went for a stupid job briefing in the morning.. argh cannot stand the attitude of that lady.. nvm~ still got bang by the lift door.. ARGH!!! not as if there's no one inside the lift.. damn painful can! *whack people* spoil my morning..
since its still so early me and celin went shopping at bugis and orchard first before meeting the rest of Holidays.. din buy a lot of thing this time! only 1 blouse from Zara heehee~~ the chicken rice at far east really nice oh! yummy yummy~~
meet up with the guy oso + lay min, serene and yvonne.. apparently they are there at the tour agency to confirm their tour to bangkok tmr.. aiyowei~~ of all times they are leaving to bangkok now.. zhen shi de.. heard that its quite chaotic now.. hmm, bon voyage then!
after making lots of noise outside the tour agency (considering there's like.. hmm.. 13 of us) we left for a mini birthday celebration at TCC for philip.. hope u like the shirt!
hmm, its 28th March today..

yes! angela! today went to TM with elaine for Angela Zhang Shao Han and Kelly's Live Concert event.. well since its at TM no harm going jus to watch right? no need cd for entry too..
but! ended up me and elaine cant resist the temptation and bought angela album since she's having an autograph session after the whole event.. heehee..
but her voice really power! u shud hear her live.. dun see her so petite (oh gosh she really very small size) her live ish chao powerful! she sang a total of.. 6 songs.. woohoo~.jpg)

today worked with celin at Shangarila Hotel at 7am.. aiish~ so early..
nv been to Shangarila Hotel before.. and gosh, the first impression ish that the toilet ish damn posh! it looks more like hotel rooms than toilet doors..
we are working over at the Island Ballroom.. apparently there's conference going on there.. in the morning was the CEO Summit 06. wahh u can see all the BIG SHOTS! got Mediacorp Director, Coca Cola, Cycle and Carriage, Leo Burnett (some famous marketing company) blah blah.. our job ish provide them with the badges.. very simple job.. but was quite chaotic in the morning.. lots of confusion.. the night conference was much better.. was slightly more organise.. the night conference ish the Advertising Lecture 06.. heard one part of the so-called "lecture".. wahh very sian..
it damn damn freezing there! im not kidding.. its so cold that i saw my fingers turning purple.. freaking cold.. as though air con ish free..
and i got starved for like 7hrs before i got the first meal of the day.. DAMN HUNGRY! but after that we kept on eating.. this is the meal schedule for the day *note: the conference ish for the whole day*:
8am - Breakfast (some bread or smth)
10am - Coffee and Tea Session
12pm - Lunch (wide spread of variety.. from jap food to chinese and western and desert! buffet style)
3pm - Tea Break (Dim Sum)
5pm - Cocktail Party
8pm - Dinner
kao, see! they got SOOOO many breaks in between every 2 hours.. whatever they ate and there's leftover (after the Tea and Coffee session), we will kope the rest! these rich people are really very zhu.. keep eating and eating.. but Shangarila's food not really nice leh.. either they are tasteless or too hard.. hard as in u can take and throw at someone, and the person will faint. yup thats right! lolx~ im not kidding!
shall stress on the dinner! actually can leave at 830pm le (wow worked like 13 hrs! no wonder SO tired) but they claimed that there are lots of guest which wasnt present and let's just take their place for the dinner! lolx.. omg.. i dun wan! i wan go home sleep~~~ dead tired.. i insisted that my mum got cook my share at home but they are so persistent.. so bo bian went in the ballroom for dinner too.. i heard that the dinner cost like US$100!!
WAHH!! *jaw drop* nearly S$200.. and me and celin are eating them for free!

this is the main course.. erm.. terriyaki chicken with some mash potato thingy plus vege.. the terriyaki chicken kinda salty can!
desert time! some pudding thingy with strawberries!! heehee.. the strawberry taste nice!!
eh.. after desert ish call what arh?? lolx.. suddenly got this chocolate desert.. but the choco dun taste nice de.. *shake head*
aye imagine sharing tables with those big shots.. tsk tsk~ dunno shud feel happy or nervous.. hmm, i think i shud come down from the moutains more often and see the world lolx! u shud have seen our expression when we see the 5-star hotel.. and aiish! it irks me to see those so damn fake expression on the face of those big shots when they see each other..
"OH! *whoever whoever* hi! how are you doing!" then hug here and there with the plastic smile on the face.. gosh! these ppl are SO FAKE!!! u can see that the smile ish not geniune at all! i cant stand the realistic world...
yes yes yes!! i pass!! heehee~actually failed my e-trial test.. by one question!! *xin tong* 88%.. but then i got the feel of how the test ish like...then i pass the actual test!! *grinx* but i wonder how many questions i did wrongly.. hmmm~ anyway credits to my lao shi!! thanx for the last minute teaching ytd! zhong suan mei dui bu qi ni! and thanx for all the luck too! received quite a few 'good luck' from a lot of ppl ytd.. *patpat to ah ru and cc* though we are not really convinced that they are telling the truth.. but let just take it that they are telling the truth since they even swear le.. hmm~~ still doubtful.. even joyce oso pian us lo.. all the more u 2 are highly suspicious!

ridiculous! he started talking about the environment sufferring bcuz of these people.. inconsiderate blah blah.. ok~ then he went on that the Earth is dying soon.. and only animals and plants will survive... and HE will survive too bcuz he is a good person.. all the destroyers of Earth will come to no good end.. wtf ish he talking?!?! he good person?! oh yea so right man! good people dun go around telling people that they are good for goodness sake! and since all humans are bad, ok lor, go live in the zoo then! animals the best!
nvm.. he continued about technology.. cuz we were taking photos of ourselves using our hp.. he claimed those to be luxury and what africa people are sufferring.. wahh they so poor thing! since they so poor thing u go africa help them lah! u tell us for what? he even nag on that we din follow our tradition.. chinese nv follow chinese traditions and indian doesnt follow their tradition anymore.. and that w are going more and more westernise bcuz WE ARE WEARING JEANS. hello! u dare to swear to me that u NEVER wear jeans in ur life before! and look at what u are wearing! if u wan to be traditional go wear banana leafs then!!!! isnt that what ur ancestors used to wear! ridiculous!

went to marina bay for dinner tog with Holidays and the guys as usual.. dun have appetite to eat at all.. too tired i guess.. so keep talking and talking to keep myself awake.. we got too tired until too high le.. had been awake for almost 24 hours!

had been working these few days at the budget terminal. this job ish fun BUT very tiring.. can hardly open my eyes before and after work (as shiru has mentioned in her blog!) bcuz we were so busy that we dun have time to feel tired at all...jpg)

basically my job ish to assist celin. actually shiru was together with us.. but they lack one typist so they transfer her over to the next counter.. their job ish registration the public for the tour in the Budget Terminal and i need explain to them about the pass, their group number and waiting area. keep repeating the same thing over and over and over and over again for the whole day~~ until i wanna lose my voice le...jpg)

faced some REALLY REALLY unreasonable customers!! oh cannot tahan their attitude. got one particular couple (old auntie and uncle) thinks tat they are so damn great when they can speak in english and make a big fuss when we ask them to queue up. ^#%@$%^@ they even argue with my in charge and got her so pissed off! this is one part of their conversation when it got real nasty:
old couple: you are obviously picking on me!! i come here first! why do u keep asking me to queue up!! what kinda service is this!!
(who say they come first.. got another grp of ppl registering at our counter at that time..)
my in-charge: sir! i hope u can understand that im not picking on anyone!
old couple: YOU ARE!! i demand to speak to ur manager now!!
my in-charge: i AM the manager!
old couple: SO WHAT?! i wanna speak to ur director!!!
my in-charge: *damn pissed* FINE!! u wait here!! i get my director to talk to u now!
aye~ see how unreasonable people can get sometimes? even make my in-charge lose her cool.. thats scary.. cuz all the in-charges there are real friendly and stuff.. that incident muz have really made her damn damn pissed.. i almost wanted to rebutt the couple when they even came and grumble to me and celin that my in-charge picking on them. PLEASE LO!! lolx and celin tug my pants and ask me to keep quiet in case i got involve in this arguement too.. but they were really too much!!
and that's ONE of the MANY unreasonable cases.. of cuz there are good ones.. heehee~ *yanw* time for bed again.. feeling so hardworking lately! i have been waking up earlier than the sun!! everytime when walking to the bus stop, the whole route would be so dark..

today finally met up with Holidays le!! its been almost a week since we last saw each other (except celin heehee).. went to shop around TM for mary's bday present.. we decided to get him a cap (oh yea.. mary ish a guy for ur info) so we settled for one billabong cap.. quite decent looking and his style lol..
then went to pasir ris to get my ez link replace.. haix... bai bai make me waste $31 just for the stupid card.. *sobsob* $15 for replacement, $6 for activating the card, $10 to top up.. @%$@%$^%#^%@ I SO BROKE NOW!!!! $31 for one stupid card.. u know how much i can eat with $31!!! humph! nvm. i still have to call and report loss.. and call up the national library to report loss oso in case someone use my card to borrow books.. and i needa call dunno who to get the pin number to get back the balance in my card.. so troublesome!
since we are already at pasir ris we went downtown east to play bowling.. while the guys were at wild wild wet.. oh so damn long nv play bowling le!! we played for around 2 hours.. simin lah.. dunno why she die die oso dun wan play.. so only the 4 of us play.. and that celin foo! keep saying she dunno how to play but yet she got the highest score LOL!
then we went to find the guys.. haiyo! zhen shi slow lo.. waited so long for them.. then went to bedok 85 to celebrate mary's birthday lolx! wrong place to celebrate bday though.. but its the thought that counts ok! *excuse* anyway! lolx.. we bot a cake for him last minute.. hmm, u can count that a surprise.. haha..

today went for the job briefing at the airport.. hmm guess what our job is! lolx.. ish registration over at the budget terminal.. and they actually call the terminal 'Budget Terminal'.. and it live up to its name!! gosh its really damn budgeted. there's a passage way over from the mini departual hall to the mini arrival hall (budget terminal ish REAL small) and it HAS NO AIR CON AT ALL!! *diao* we were like "no air con???!!" and the person say "this passage way ish naturally ventilated...." =.= yea man.. no air con say no air con.. what natually ventilated.. say until so nice..
basically the Budget Terminal will be open to public from wed to sun to tour around the place.. erm my advice ish, dun come. there really isnt much to see anyway. its a SUPER MINI terminal.. bu kui ish budgeted one.. but if u wanna drop by and view exactly how mini ish mini and how budgeted ish budgeted, you are most welcome to visit! free admission de oh!

then i lost my damn ez link card AGAIN!! ^$#%@#$@#%@$ this is the second time i lost my ez link card...... wah sian... i cant imagine the look on my dad face when i tell him i lost my ez link card again.. he will skin me!!! cuz to replace one need money.. H-A-I-Zzzzz~!! luckily i haven top up my ez link card.. and i ended up walking home cuz i dun have enough coins either... BUT THE WORSE THING ISH MY RENFU PICTURE IS IN THE CARD HOLDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there's another outlet at marina square so we walked there.. meanwhile we pass by suntec and god! there were like SOOOOOOOOOOO many people.. and its really impossible to move!! and we only wan to get thru to go to marina square.. in the end we tried another exit.. haix.. marina square outlet oso dun have the pink jacket.. neither do far east outlet.. haix~~ forget it.. im jus so not fated with the jacket..
then we went home.. went to pasar malam and grab some snacks.. and at the interchange i was digging my bag for my ez link and i couldnt find it.. i thought was bcuz my bag too messy.. BUT NO! i really couldnt find it! *panick* i confirm i lost it in tampines if not i couldnt have get out of the mrt.. went back to all the places we walked thru but no luck... haix~~ once i lost something its really impossible for me to find it back.. i have no luck in getting back the things i lost.. *sobsob* die le lah~!! *wept* and poor ping had to accompany me and walk back home.. thanx le!!

ok crap aside.. after seeing the ad i went to dig out 5566 龙之神舞演唱会 2004 to watch again.. heehee~!! that time they so poor thing.. the concert met with typhoon.. and its on fufu's birthday somemore!
so i hope and pray that the concert next week, everything will be smooth for them!! then faster come out with concert dvd!! hee~ then come singapore for auto session!! so long never see them le..

after being bored to tears at home for 2 days, today finally get to go out!!!!
morning went eat breakfast with celin and julius.. oh the prata chao zan! i order 2 egg prata, celin got 1 egg prata and julius got dunno what cheese prata and egg prata.. plus the ice lemon tea... wahh one BIG cup.. can feel full just by drinking the ice lemon tea..
actually was suppose meet the rest (got... philip, mary, edwin, lay min, teck chiat, evonne, yee chen and terence) at 1pm at city hall.. wahaha when philip call at 1pm we just finish eating only! LoLx~! in the end we 3 are the latest.. oops! heehee.. and throughout the whole trip on the mrt we were so paranoid when our phone vibrate.. lolx~
went to the IT fair.. there's like SOOOO many people around.. its been so long since i saw such a BIG crowd.. actually went to find zhaopei de.. but the fair ish too big!! cant find her.. but saw jeremy instead! wahaha! aye~~ and IT stuff both me and celin got lots of question marks on our head.. all kan bu dong.. lolx!
then suddenly philip result come!! he's the first among the group to receive the sms result.. then celin.. wahh *faints* scary scary!! then shiru call me say her results come le.. when i hang up my hp i realise got sms.. *gulp* really ish result! aye~ 1 A, 2 B+, 4 B.. *sobsob* no Z.. but the rest of them all very li hai!! all got Zs and As one.. *pei fu* u guys really win liao..
then we went marina square for ice cream! wahaha so embarassing there.. one big group went in and come out of the restaurant.. lolx~ cuz the ice cream ish take away de.. me and celin share strawberry and cookies&cream! but the green tea and durian one very nice!! lolx~! tou chi from philip and julius ice cream..
went home after that.. cuz its celin's mum birthday today so she have to go home earlier.. in the end most of us left... aye~ i still cannot forgive myself.. could have done better de!! my a&p result actually drop lo.. *sobsob* nvm! next semester i MUST GET Z!!! *jiayou to myself!*

*shudders* something very creepy happen last night to my dad and me..
cuz my dad reached home quite late last night.. and i was in my room using my lappy.. suddenly the phone rang.. was already 12midnight.. who will call in this inhumane time of the day??!! and it rang for quite long le.. so i decided to get off my bed to the living room and answer the call.. my dad was already at the living room then. and he was holding on to the house phone with a puzzled expression which was still ringing.
eh?? so i took a peek at which idiot called so late in the night (cuz we got caller ID) and guess what?? the call was actually from my dad handphone. okie wait, my dad handphone was charging lo!! and it was like only 1 metre from us only.. no one was near his handphone at all!!!! *faint* my dad was looking at me..
"what just happen??? how come the call ish from my handphone??!!!!"
i oso blur.. impossible!!! i went over to see his handphone, indeed the handphone was making a call to my house phone.. and my dad's bluetooth got its blue light blinking too.. *dumbfounded*
but i din think that much yesterday night.. jus ended the call and went back to my room cuz was pretty tired.. but now i thought of the incident again, yue xiang yue kong bu!! how come the handphone will make a call on its own de?!?!?!?!?! my mum was asking how many we din pick up the call.. *peng* SIAO ARH!!! imagine me and my dad pick up the call and hear a "hello~"

CHAO HAO KAN DE SHOW!!!! oops! *straighten clothes* sorry sorry.. im sounding like ah ru.. wahaha~!! but zhen de.. this show is very funny! lolx.. especially yang cheng ling expression chao chao chao chao ke ai de!!!! heehee.. and her hairstyle in the show all very nice.. this show rather stupid actually.. lolx.. but stupid de very ke ai! so overall this show ish highly recommended! ke shi we haven watch finish! muz find another day go marathon dvd again..
then we went for dinner at compass point.. (oh i forgot to mention that celin wasnt around) and simin haven sleep for the whole night cuz she working night shift and she meet us right after her work.. so! her jokes of the day started surfacing again! first ish 'smash cash' when she request for smaller cash.. erm wait.. what ish 'smaller cash' anyway???!!! shud be smaller change bah.. lolx! and she pronounce dunno which movie title wrongly.. make me and ah ru bursting out with laughter! too bad joyce missed it! hahaha talk to simin talk until wan vomit blood.. zhen shi de! and min min this name ish suggested by our shiru er jie.. *faints* LoL..
anyways! got another job at changi aiport instead! hmm.. sounds better.. near my house.. though start work at *gulp* 8am.. but.. hmm still not a bad deal.. heehee..
yup.. today last day of work le.. im officially jobless again!! *sobsob*
oh gosh im still sneezing now.. had been sneezing for the whole of today.. either someone keep cursing me for the whole day or.. im gonna be sick..
and its freezing today over at our seminar halls!! very very very cold.. like going to snow soon.. i even had to hold on to a cup of warm water in my hand to stop my fingers from freezing.. *brrr~*
and today din get to eat snake.. *sobsob* today ish hardworking day.. had been pretty busy from start.. cuz im in charge of 2 seminar halls today.. running in and out all the time.. haix.. and somemore its sunday.. so there's lotsa crowd..
oh anyway! there's a seminar on radio today.. and one of the speaker ish Chen Liyi from 933.. heehee.. abandon my work and went over to listen to their talk.. haix.. so sad that i din get into mass comm.. it sounds so fun as a DJ! the lady in the middle ish Liyi (the pic like very blur..).. the other 2 i not sure who they are...jpg)
after work its HOLIDAYS get together time!! lolx.. went to eat at suntec lvl 1 there.. which prata claim to be nice.. erm i not sure.. me ah ru and cc had laksa while celin and joyce had prata.. damn exp!! one laksa cost $3.80.. and the ingredient only got prawn.. so miserable!
and we went anderson ice cream for dessert! chao crappish over there.. laugh until like crazy...jpg)

work started on thursday at suntec career fair.. this job ish contradicting..its both fun and boring at the same time..
i shall start with boring first.. boring bcuz our task ish DOWNRIGHT BORING!!! our task ish suppose to be like to assist the speaker in the seminar, and usher the crowd around to the correct seminar room.. and there's 2 person in charge each seminar room.. haix and my partner first day of work he came up with a new name for me - blur queen. thanx lo.. haix~~ fine i admit im blur can.. haix.. and when a seminar starts, we got nothing to do at all.. either we stay in the room and listen or stay outside and "guard"...jpg)

and the most ridiculous thing we did today was to sneak off to Watson and gathered snacks back!! lolx! and the idea was instigated by me and zhaopei.. bcuz we are simply too hungry! heehee.. and meiying and the guy(ok i dun recall his name) got pull into this...jpg)
heeheehee~~ we hide the food behind the bins.. got potato chips and one giant box of pokee strawberry flavour.. thats not all!! got 2 more boxes of choco oreo cookie and kit kats in the cupboard inside the seminar halls muahaha!! each one of us keep a few packets of oreo cookie in our pockets.. LoL~ and when the seminar starts and we got nothing to do we gather together and EAT!!! heehee.. at the same time we gotta watch out for our in-charge. but she's pretty lenient i would say.. she nv say anything even when she sees us one whole bunch gathering together for chatting sessions.. heehee..
oh! and i saw teck chiat on the first day of work.. haha apparently he came visitng his fren at the Singtel exhibition thingy jus opposite my seminar hall.. so i spotted him.. on day 2 the bunch of T01 guys drop by the exhibition.. wahh good lor nv come find me at the seminar hall.. LoL.. and day 3 saw teck chiat again.. wahaha! so sad that me celin and joyce timing of work is not the same.. not nvm! can always meet to go home together.. and of cuz my jie jie and mummy SENG SHIRU and CECILIA CHIONG SI MIN came down and visit us too.. wahaha!
